TEAM IMPACT

Wow, long time no blog!
Things have been a little nutso lately at our house. But, here is a noteworthy story......
Team Impact came to our church this past week!
For those of you who don't know about them; they are a ministry team of 22 athletes that travel the globe doing amazing feats of strength and testify the goodness of God.
We had three men come this year, C.J. Arocha, Chip Minton, and Shawn Keels. Shawn also brought his wife Bonnie and 2 beautiful daughters Bailey and Breelin.

They open each night by performing some awesome feats;
like breaking 15 stacks of bricks with a forearm:

Or putting their head through 300 lbs of ice:

After the opening one of the Athletes would share a personal testimony.
Chip Minton is a 2 time Olympian for the 1994 and 1998 Bob Sled team. He also was a pro wrestler who went by the name Mr. World Class. Here he is sharing his story about how he came to Christ when he was 33 years old.

He was involved in one of my favorite feats of strength they did this year. Chip laid down on a bed of concrete with a board FULL of sharp nails was placed on his chest. (sharp side down) Then a bunch of volunteers lifted 600lbs of ice with 2x4's and placed it on top of that nail filled board.

Then C.J Arocha stood behind him on a platform
and took a sledge hammer and broke the ice in 2!

Another one that is just beyond me was how Sean Keels was able to drive a 16 penny nail through a frying pan.....with nothing but a piece of cloth between him and the nail! Wow you should have heard the sound!

Then after that, C.J. took it and rolled it up like a taco! With his bare hands!

We were very blessed to have them come out to our church. Besides the awesome feats...they were all very good speakers each with a great story to tell about how God has changed their life forever. If Team Impact is ever near you....DEFINITELY take the time to see them!
